Your tasks

As an intern in the field of data engineering at the Advanced Technology Engineering Molds department, we offer you an exciting opportunity to gain experience in an innovative environment. You will play a central role in continuously improving the qualification of injection molding tools and processes. Through your initial tasks in the structured and solution-oriented development of a digital infrastructure, including the system-supported and automated capturing, processing, and structuring of large amounts of data of various kinds, you enable data-driven analyses, optimizations, and innovative solutions that increase the quality of our products and tools.

You capture and structure the current system landscape (hardware and software systems) of the Molds department, including the respective possibilities for developing a digital and interconnected IT infrastructure
You, together with the team, identify possible AI use cases and derive the necessary data foundations, which you then capture, prepare, and make available for data analytics, data science, and AI approaches
You support the activities of the Molds and Advanced Technology Engineering Molds department and gain practical experience in the different qualification steps of medical injection molding tools and continuous optimizations of the included procedures

Your qualifications

You are studying in the field of AI, IT, computer science, automation, technology management, electrical engineering, or a similar field and would like to complete your mandatory internship (minimum duration 18-22 weeks
