You will be working in our pre-development department (Product Innovation - Connectivity and Data), with a focus on developing new innovative data-based products and functions, such as:

Developing methods for fault detection and predictive maintenance of mechanical systems using physical models, data science, and machine learning
Developing new intelligent sensor and actuator systems
Using machine learning in embedded systems, particularly in vehicle control units, to control and regulate functions and evaluate system conditions
Developing cloud-based mobility solutions, especially in the field of fleet orchestration, to make the transport industry of the future more sustainable and efficient and to make our vision of automated commercial vehicle traffic a reality.

A typical pre-development project involves both data collection on our test track in Jeversen, north of Hanover, and data analysis at the desk in Hanover.
