    Job Overview:

    The main responsibility of the Beverage Manager is to ensure a smooth and outstanding beverage service experience for guests. This role involves overseeing bar operations, training staff, and managing day-to-day activities to maintain high standards and exceed guest expectations. Reporting to the Director of Hospitality, the Beverage Manager plays a vital role in upholding Wind Creek Chicago Southland's reputation as a top destination for quality beverage experiences.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Identifies operational needs in beverage areas and implements improvements for guest and team experience
    • Ensures compliance with alcohol serving regulations
    • Develops customer service training programs and maintains service standards
    • Manages outlet controls, staffing schedules, and budgets
    • Creates cocktail programs, monitors profits, and oversees staff development
    • Promotes beverage operations through innovative programs and guest interactions
    • Communicates effectively with guests and staff, ensuring everyone is informed of relevant information
    • Handles special projects as assigned
    • Other duties as required

    Job Requirements:

    • High School diploma or GED required
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Related Field AND two (2) years Supervisory experience in a high-volume beverage outlet required
      • OR Four (4) years' management experience in a high-volume beverage outlet required
      • OR Three (3) years' F&B Supervisory experience with Wind Creek Hospitality required
    • Problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
    • Knowledge of beverage products and service techniques
    • Ability to obtain BASSET or ServeSafe certification
    • Physical capability to work in all outlet areas, lift up to 40 pounds, and handle conflicts calmly
    • Flexibility to travel and undergo training as needed
    • Budget development and financial management skills
    • Strong communication skills and computer proficiency
    • Ability to work independently and in a team, adapt to a dynamic environment, and maintain a gaming license
