Traffic control officer (m/f/d)
Department of Public Safety and Order


Your tasks:


  • Monitoring of parking and noparking zones, parking meters and parking disc regulations, as well as ordered traffic restrictions
  • Ordering and carrying out towing measures
  • Monitoring of unregistered vehicles
  • Checking the completeness and meaningfulness of parking signs
  • Checking the expiration of TÜV stickers, as well as checking for environmental stickers (environmental zone)
  • Checking construction measures in public traffic areas for the presence of corresponding traffic regulations
  • Monitoring and, if necessary, reporting within the framework of city cleanliness control
  • Participation in other operations to support the police within the framework of the partnership for order

Special features:


The service is to be performed in uniform from Monday to Friday within a shift schedule between 8:00 am and 4:21 pm, as well as between 10:39 am and 7:00 pm, and every 2 weeks on Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Occasionally, for example on special occasions, service may also be required outside of these times (including Sundays).


Your profile:

The position requires
- the qualification for the second entry level in the general administrative service or
- the successful completion of a recognized vocational training program with a duration of at least 3 years. Recognized vocational training
