European Homecare GmbH is a social service company that has been providing services on behalf of the public sector for over 30 years.

Currently, we operate in approximately 100 facilities nationwide with a total of approximately 2,000 employees. Our services include the care, accommodation, and support of asylum seekers and homeless individuals.

Job Description

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Controller (m/f/d) for our main office in Essen-Bergerhausen, starting as soon as possible.

The position is full-time and permanent.

Your responsibilities:

  • Creating budgets, forecasts, and contribution margin calculations
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements
  • Optimizing and developing internal controlling tools and processes
  • Conducting key figure analyses and target/actual comparisons
  • Assisting in the preparation of tenders
  • Calculating necessary resource allocation based on contract terms
  • Pricing/defining offer prices
  • Handling adhoc analyses and special tasks
Qualifications

  • Completed university degree (university/college) or equivalent education
  • Ideally 23 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in project development/management
  • Analytical approach and a strong affinity for numbers
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Knowledge of DATEV and initial experience with controlling tools are advantageous
  • High level of organizational, communication, and service orientation
  • Proactive, precise, and independent work style
  • Enjoyment of working collabor
