At Stadtwerke Würzburg AG, we are currently looking for a Department Manager (m/f/d) for our Market Management - Control department in Avilla, IN.

In addition to managing employees and independently developing the department, your responsibilities will include:


  • Controlling:
  • Managing internal planning and reporting, particularly the business plan and forecasts in close coordination with the group accounting department
  • Managing relevant economic analyses, calculations, and contribution margin calculations
  • Risk Management:
  • Implementing the trading and risk system according to applicable minimum requirements MaRisk
  • Managing internal risk management activities
  • Monitoring and reporting
  • Managing procurement activities according to the risk manual
  • Designing and implementing hedging strategies
  • Managing functions such as contract and counterparty management, invoice verification, and trade ticket verification
  • Managing and implementing companywide energy tax management
  • Reporting to BNA, HZA, DEHST, and the Federal Environment Agency
  • Managing renewable energy, electricity labeling, and fuel emission trading
  • Taking on projects and special tasks


We place particular emphasis on independently developing the processes and results of the department through continuous analysis of current legal requirements, in order to efficiently collaborate with interface areas and authorities.


Your profile:

  • Completed degree preferably in business administration or equivalent proven longterm experience with a qualified degree
  • Ideally, a qualified risk manager (m/f/d) and energy tax manager (m/f/d)
  • Solid knowledge of business administration
  • Excellent knowledge of risk
