in North Browning, MT is currently seeking a qualified educator/educational therapist as a maternity leave replacement until approximately October 31, 2024.

The Family House is a support program within the youth welfare system.

It is designed for families with minor children who require daily, structured support and guidance in a residential setting in order to gradually and consistently learn and implement appropriate care, development, and education for their children.

The house is staffed 24/7 by a multidisciplinary team of social workers, educators, and housekeepers.

Your responsibilities will include:

Participation in the development of care plans and implementation of care plan goals
Guidance for parents on ageappropriate daily routines for children
Guidance for parents on ageappropriate care and education for children
Promotion of active leisure activities with agespecific educational offerings
Organization of parent evenings and leisure activities for individuals and groups
Support for parents in coping with personal crises
Monitoring measures to ensure the wellbeing of the child
Provision of agreedupon care time through presence and individual care
Availability for necessary oncall duties

We expect from you:

A successful completion of training as a staterecognized educator or educational therapist
Professional experience
Excellent knowledge of child development
Knowledge of infant and toddler care
Methodological and didactic skills in playful child development
Ability to work independently,
