Job Description:

Supervision of a third-party project investigating development methods for securing and evaluating automated driving functions in motor vehicles.

This includes independently planning and conducting experiments with a test vehicle at the "Human and Vehicle-in-the-Loop Lab", including with test subjects, as well as on test tracks.

Supervision of the Vehicle-in-the-Loop test bench. Instruction of student assistants; participation in the acquisition of new projects from national and European funding sources. Possibility for promotion.


Expected Qualifications:


Successfully completed university degree (diploma, master's or equivalent) in vehicle engineering, mechatronics, measurement and control engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related fields; specific knowledge in experimental techniques, particularly for HiL test benches and real-time systems, as well as experience with experimental design and driver assistance systems desired; experience with Matlab/Simulink necessary.

Excellent written and spoken German skills and good English skills are required.
