HPA) takes care of the economic heartbeat of the Hanseatic city. With our approximately 1,800 employees, we are responsible for the water and landbased infrastructure, increase safety and efficiency in the port, plan and carry out construction projects, and manage real estate. We combine efficiency and environmental awareness, thanks in part to the use of the latest technologies and forwardthinking projects such as smartPORT. We maintain close contact with shipping, logistics, and service providers.

The Facility Management department ensures the implementation of assigned operator obligations for buildings and areas, the availability of technical building equipment, as well as the technical, operational, and economic maintenance and management of asset class objects.

The focus is particularly on the technical management of port-related assets such as land, buildings, quay walls, slopes, floating facilities, and other specialized port properties owned by HPA.

Diverse range of tasks:

Management of the Facility Management unit and personnel management of subordinate units
Economic management of the unit, including forecasting and planning
Setting a strategic direction and entrepreneurial leadership of the unit
Management of overarching targets and control indicators to ensure operator obligations
