"Nurse" Nurses care for and support people of all ages in areas such as nursing, elderly care, integration assistance, and pediatric nursing. Their tasks are diverse: they manage the entire care process of the patient. This includes determining the individual care needs, planning, coordinating, and documenting care measures. They advise the patient and their family and promote their individual abilities. They accompany doctor visits, administer prescribed medications, care for wounds, and perform tasks such as infusions or injections. In addition, they take on organizational tasks, such as organizing therapies or doctor appointments. They also contribute to quality assurance and other administrative tasks. Nurses can work in home care services, nursing homes, hospitals, geriatric and rehabilitation facilities, as well as for health insurance companies, authorities, and in the medical product industry. If you take a break from work for personal reasons, it is possible to return later with flexible working hours, either part-time or full-time.
