Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/div) in Bioinformatics

The Max Planck Institute of Immunobiology and Epigenetics in Freiburg, Germany, is currently offering a Postdoctoral Position in bioinformatics within the Department of Chromatin Regulation (led by Prof. Dr. Asifa Akhtar / ).

Our lab generates large amounts of deep sequencing data, including RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, and Nanopore long-read sequencing. We use a combination of existing bioinformatics tools and develop new analysis methods to analyze these datasets. Our lab members have also contributed to the development of deepTools2 suite (Ramírez et al 2016 Nucleic Acids Research) and snakePipes package (Bhardwaj et al 2019 Bioinformatics) in collaboration with the
