Tasks and Process

As a mechanical engineer, you will use your knowledge of physics to develop solutions for new tasks. With your understanding of mechanics, materials science, and thermodynamics, you will design and improve machines that enable and facilitate our work. In the beginning, you will learn the analytical foundations of engineering studies. In the last semesters, you will specialize in a specific area.

Requirements and Duration of Training

To study with a focus on practical experience, you need a general higher education entrance qualification, technical college entrance qualification, or equivalent university admission. You should also have a good understanding of mathematics and physics.

The standard duration of the program is 3.5 years.

The training alternates between theory phases at the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences and practical phases in various departments at ZF during the semester breaks. This close connection provides excellent opportunities for advancement.
