Our reception center in Grenzstraße offers accommodation for 120 people in single and double rooms, with a total of 34 apartments.

Residents also have access to communal areas and a beautiful garden. Our target group is homeless adult men who are referred to us by the responsible district office.

Our goal is not only to provide short-term housing for homeless individuals, but also to help them develop perspectives for the future.

We are currently looking for a caretaker to cover a temporary absence at our Grenzstraße reception center.


Your responsibilities:

• Preparing and setting up beds (clearing rooms, cleaning and furnishing rooms)
• Renovating and maintaining apartments, rooms, and furniture
• Identifying and addressing any defects or issues
• Conducting minor repairs in areas such as plumbing (e.g. fixing faucets, unclogging drains), carpentry (e.g. repairing furniture), and metalwork (e.g. changing door plates and locks)
• Hiring, instructing, and supervising external companies
• Collaborating with the property management regarding defect reports and coordinating repairs
• Conducting small transports, such as purchasing furnishings
