'Our client, a European company in the plastics industry, is seeking a Commercial Director (m/f/d) with the option for a managing director position, based in the Berlin/Brandenburg area.

Responsibilities:

Operational and strategic management of the finance, controlling, HR, and procurement departments
Leadership and development of personnel
Establishment of controlling structures and cost center accounting
Further development, digitalization, and process optimization of departments
Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
Point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and internal inquiries

Profile:

Successfully completed degree in business administration, with a focus on accounting and controlling preferred, or a comparable education
Several years of professional experience in controlling/finance and accounting, as well as in HR
Experience in both functional and disciplinary leadership in the commercial sector
Hands-on mentality and confident, independent approach
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
