Our client specializes in the real estate industry, offering services such as property acquisition, construction, renovation, building conversions, and project financing.

They are currently seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee data protection management throughout the company.

This position will be based in Munich and offers a salary range of €60,000- €85,000.

Key responsibilities:

Provide guidance to the Data Protection Executive Office on all aspects of data protection law as the first line of defense.
Collaborate with the Compliance team to improve the company's overall data protection management system.
Evaluate and enhance existing processes related to data protection across various departments and participate in related projects.
Identify and mitigate data protection risks, as well as develop and implement control frameworks and monitoring procedures.
Assist in creating and updating internal policies and legal standards related to data protection.
Offer advice to colleagues in specialized departments during external audits and support them in conducting internal audits and checks.

Requirements:

A degree in law, economics, or a related field.
Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
