Located in the heart of the Cologne-Bonn Rhine plain, with good connections to the major cities of Cologne and Bonn, the city of Niederkassel offers motivated individuals the opportunity to contribute to our city and its citizens.

We are currently seeking a full-time position as a caretaker (m/f/d) for our municipal administrative buildings, starting as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate should reside in Niederkassel or one of the immediately adjacent villages. (The position can also be divided into two part-time positions if desired.)

Your main tasks will include:

Maintenance of the buildings, including the outdoor areas and ancillary buildings
Monitoring of technical systems and cleaning services
Execution of repair work
Point of contact for craftsmen, suppliers, and other service providers

Qualifications and personal requirements:

You have completed an apprenticeship in a trade, preferably as a carpenter, electrician, gas and water installer, or painter, with several years of professional experience
Alternatively, you have many years of proven professional experience in one of the abovementioned trades or as a caretaker
You have a valid driver's license (Class B)
You are willing to work evenings and weekends
You are resilient, reliable, punctual, and committed
You have a selfsufficient, structured, and solutionoriented way of working
You have clear and confident verbal and written communication skills
