Humanitarian Immigration Officer (m/f/d)

(A 9 LBesG / EG 9a TVöD)

This full-time position can also be filled with complementary part-time employees.


Your responsibilities:

  • Processing of humanitarian residence permits and other permits during and after asylum procedures
  • Maintenance of the central register for foreigners
  • Collection of biometric data
  • Issuance and extension of tolerances and permits
  • Participation in occasional oncall duty
  • Participation in field work

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed training as a administrative assistant or qualification for the civil service career group 1, 2nd entry level of the general nontechnical administration
  • Several years of professional experience with intensive customer contact, experience in the immigration office is an advantage
  • Reliability, flexibility, resilience, communication and teamwork skills, intercultural competence, strong sense of responsibility
  • Physical fitness, especially for field work
  • Independent, quality and serviceoriented work style
  • Driver's license class B and willingness and ability to drive a company car
  • Willingness to participate in training for selfpro
