We are currently looking for employees for our palliative care department in Bellevue, NE, starting as soon as possible:
Palliative Care Staff (m/f/d):
(full-time and/or part-time)
Your responsibilities:
- Independent and professional execution of basic and treatment care, as well as taking further necessary nursing measures
- Willingness to engage in intensive relationship and care work
- Identification with the concept of palliative care and willingness to engage with the situation of terminally ill patients
- Collaboration in a multidisciplinary team and contribution to the development of the department
- Willingness to work independently in shift schedules
- Counseling and support for family members and other cooperation partners
Your qualifications:
- Completed training in elderly care or health and nursing care
- Further education in palliative care of at least 160 hours or willingness to complete it
- Identification with the idea of providing palliative care for seriously ill patients, especially through a respectful attitude towards the patients and their families
- Good nursing and medical knowledge in the field of palliative and acute care or oncology
- Communication and social skills, empathy and flexibility
