The Medical Faculty is one of five faculties at Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), the largest university in Northern Bavaria and a significant player in research and teaching beyond the region.

It consists of preclinical and clinical-theoretical institutes, chairs at the University Hospital Erlangen, and since 2022, a branch at the Medical Campus Oberfranken (MCO) in Bayreuth.

The SkillsLab offers students various opportunities to practice medical skills and abilities on models and simulation dolls.

Responsibilities:
Organization of SkillsLab courses in coordination with responsible doctors and lecturers
Administration of courses in specific university information systems
Assistance with procurement of teaching and learning materials
Support in establishing our simulated patient program
Contact person for student assistants
Assistance in designing additional course offerings

Remarks:

The place of work is Bayreuth, and occasional business trips to Erlangen by car or train are required for meetings and training.

Your qualifications:
Completed vocational training in a healthcare profession or as a medical assistant
Ideally, you have experience in education and training in the healthcare sector
Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and modern office and communication technology
Willingness to learn how to use FAU's specific university information systems
Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
Organizational skills, teamwork, and high social competence
Ability to work independently, resilience, and willingness to learn new tasks

**
