We are currently seeking a full-time (39 hours/week) construction yard worker (m/f/d) to join our construction yard team as soon as possible.


The role includes carrying out all tasks that arise in the municipal construction yard, such as maintenance, renovation, cleaning, and to some extent, construction of roads, paths, and traffic areas; maintenance, upkeep, and repair of municipal facilities, properties, green spaces, cemeteries, playgrounds, sewage systems, and buildings; carrying out winter services on municipal roads and public areas; landscape, water, and tree maintenance; and supporting events.


Your profile:

  • Completed vocational training in a trade is desirable, preferably in gardening and landscaping
  • Valid Class B driver's license (cars and small buses) is mandatory, and Class CE (trucks with trailers) is desirable
  • Openness to the diverse tasks of our construction yard
  • Versatile technical and manual skills and interest
  • Secure and comprehensive knowledge of handling machinery, tools, etc.
  • Willingness to work outside of regular working hours (e.g. weekends, holidays) and to be on call
  • Teamwork, reliability, flexibility, and ability to work independently
  • Friendly and courteous demeanor towards citizens
Compensation will be in accordance with the collective agreement for the public sector (TVöD).
