Responsibilities:


  • Accompany and manage the entire operational and strategic purchasing process (obtaining quotes, price comparisons, order processing, deadline monitoring, invoice control, etc.)
  • Purchasing responsibility for assigned product categories
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies and projects, as well as analyze new procurement markets
  • Conduct contract negotiations and create contracts
  • Regular reporting to the purchasing management
  • Evaluate and identify suppliers to optimize procurement processes and maintain supplier relationships
  • Internal purchasing harmonization (across multiple locations) and handling of complaints

Profile:


  • Completed education in a commercial or technical field
  • Several years of experience in technical operational or strategic purchasing preferred
  • High level of creativity and flexibility in a dynamic environment
  • Strong social skills, excellent communication skills, and entrepreneurial thinking are required
  • High level of goal and results orientation
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and experience with SAP
  • Fluent in German and English
