OT & Network Security Expert (f/m/d)

Key responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor and analyze OT assets for operational reliability and cyber security, with the goal of becoming an expert in and champion for the CheckMK monitoring system.
  • Plan and implement cyber security solutions in accordance with IEC 62443 standards.
  • Document and manage OT security efforts in collaboration with internal audit teams to ensure target objectives are met.
  • Handle remote incidents in close cooperation with onsite service teams as needed.
  • Troubleshoot VPNs and network configurations.
  • Manage virtualization environments, specifically VMware ESXi.
  • Enhance and customize relevant tools, including documentation, training for team and remote resources, and backoffice support.
  • Process technical security incidents and monitor potential hazards in the OT area.
  • Improve inventory management using Netbox.
  • Develop a lifecycle strategy for each asset class and initiate change requests to management or product owners.
  • Develop, test, evaluate, and document network and security concepts, including remote connections, factory production networks, and data acquisition. Produce documentation to ensure colleagues worldwide have a good understanding of technology changes.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams, Global IT, Department Automation Engineering, Global R&D, and colleagues in regions around the world.

You bring these skills, experience & education

  • Technical education and/or experience in information technology, with the ability to adapt that knowledge to automationcentric OT environments.
