Description

We are currently looking for an electrician/mechatronics technician/maintenance mechanic (m/f/d) to join our team at DB Fernverkehr AG in Dortmund as soon as possible.


Your responsibilities:
After successful training and familiarization, you will independently carry out fault analyses and electronic and mechanical maintenance work on long-distance trains according to work orders
You will actively participate in our internal qualification programs for maintenance technicians and apply your newly acquired knowledge in practice
You will contribute your ideas to technical tasks in the field and thus contribute to the development of new repair solutions and quality improvement
You understand the importance of your work in the process of ensuring that trains are punctually operational and safe for our customers


Your profile:
You have successfully completed a vocational training as an electrician/mechatronics technician/maintenance mechanic
Ideally, you already have experience in the maintenance of rail vehicles, but this is not mandatory
You approach your tasks with passion and commitment, demonstrate manual dexterity, and are willing to take on responsibility
You are a team player and have good communication skills
You are flexible and resilient and are willing to work on weekends, at night, and on holidays.
