Together with the city of Regensburg shaping the future

We are looking for a social pedagogical specialist (m/f/d) for youth social work at the Von-der-Tann primary school for the Office of Youth and Family.


Youth social work at schools is a service of youth welfare and the most intensive form of cooperation between youth welfare and schools.

It aims to support and promote socially disadvantaged young people in their personal development.


Youth social work at schools is part of the Decentralized Social Services in the Office of Youth and Family of the city of Regensburg.

Currently, 29 employees are working at 24 school locations.


Position classification:
EG S 12 TVöD

Duration:
fixed-term until December 31, 2023

Working hours: 19.5 hours per week

What are your main tasks?

  • Implementation of the JaS concept
  • Counseling and support in problem situations: counseling sessions with students and parents
  • Individual case assistance and crisis intervention
  • Social pedagogical group work: designing and implementing measures and projects that are specifically tailored to the needs of the target group
  • Further development and evaluation of own work
  • Documentation and reporting
