Research Assistant (d/m/w) - Salary Group 13 TV-L Berlin Universities:

Job Description:

In two externally funded research projects, technologies for miniaturizing electronic components will be developed.

You will also carry out practical work on material dosing and precision assembly using complex, automated production equipment and independently evaluate the results of your work.

You will work within an innovative and structured research team for assembly and connection technology at the Wedding campus of the Technical University of Berlin.

You will have access to extensive laboratories with excellent equipment for your research work.

Expected Qualifications:

a) Excellent understanding of natural sciences, demonstrated by a successfully completed university degree (Master's, Diploma or equivalent) in mechanical engineering / physics / process engineering / materials science or similar.

b) Good German and English skills (spoken and written).

c) Knowledge in the following areas is desirable:

Programming of production machines
Material dosing/adhesive technology
Assembly and connection technology of microelectronics
Experimental design and execution, ideally with DoE experience.
