Job Overview:

Data entry, formatting of reports, and the maintenance of current data for the purposes of data analysis within the Infection Prevention department,

Support the Infection Prevention Department, through tracking of reports due, mailings, phone calls for meeting set up and reminders as well as attendance at ICC meeting and minute taking,

Qualifications:

Required:_
HS Diploma
Preferred:_
Bachelor s degree preferred
Competency in the following software programs: EPIC, Microsoft Excel

Scheduling Requirements:

Part Time Day
Preferred Hours; Tuesday 8:00am 3:30pm,Wednesday 8:00am
3:30pm and Thursday 8:00am 2:30pm

Essential Functions:

Develop and/or maintain forms on which data is collected; ensure they meet requirements for the data entry and reporting of clinical data
Strong working knowledge of Word and Excel
Ability to manipulate databases
Ability to work independently
Excellent problem solving, planning and organizational abilities
Detail oriented with attention to followup
Effective interpersonal, and communication skills
Successful execution of projects assigned
Assist in standardization of data management procedures such as documentation for departmental operating procedures
Work with IT&S and data owners to ensure that data is appropriate for the proposed use and that the data structures and sources will support the needs of all involved
Consults with others to assess data processing needs
Establish and maintain working relationships; solve problems and interact with others under stressful circumstances and time pressure
