Josef Hospital. Since 1931, we have been providing acute care as a hospital of basic care.


Surgical Department:

Annually, over 3,000 inpatients are treated in the general, visceral, and trauma surgery departments. In addition to standard procedures in general and visceral surgery, there is a special focus on minimally invasive surgery.

Geriatric traumatology is also part of this department's spectrum, as well as hip, knee, and shoulder endoprosthetics and hand surgery.

At St. Josef Hospital, we are currently looking for a
Physician Assistant to join our team in
full-time or part-time.


Your responsibilities:


  • Assisting attending physicians in patient care
  • Participating in daily rounds and internal meetings
  • Independently admitting patients, organizing examinations, and planning treatments
  • Acting as a liaison between patients, physicians, and nursing staff
  • Actively participating in blood draws and dressing changes (VAC dressings, thoracic drains, wound care)
  • Continuously documenting treatment progress and preparing discharge management

Your profile:


  • Completed Physician Assistant degree
  • Previous experience as a Physician Assistant preferred
  • High level of patient and service orientation
  • Reliable and independent work style
  • Good analytical skills
  • Team and communication skills
