Purpose/Introduction:
Administrative Professionals are core to the work we do at CPChem. This group of employees supports and enables critical processes and leaders to be successful. Expect to be a multi-tasker and ready to balance priorities while providing responsive and thorough customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for auditing and administering of manual Wire, ACH, and Check requests, including accurate maintenance of supporting documentation and records
- Resolution and reconciliation of of check voids and reissues
- Investigation and resolution of invoice distribution in workflow including proper redistribution when necessary
- Reconciliation and resolution of daily bank confirmations
- Resolve, on a daily basis, any vendor payments rejected by bank
- Administration and resolution of stop payments, including monitoring of data in banking software
- Primary contact for payment of high profile, large vendor payments, including ensuring proper authority for payment
- Reconciliation and resolution of all Positive Pay Exceptions communicated from bank
- Perform other departmental functions as requested by Management
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years accounts payable, purchasing, or accounting experience
- High School Diploma
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to understand and address internal and external customer issues
- Ability to work effectively in a team with the ability to inspire others within the company
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Business
