    SCOPE OF POSITION:

    • Anticipated opening of May 3rd, 2024 The Equipment Maintenance & Supply Technician ensures equipment for the nursing department is well maintained and operating safely, performs repairs as needed, and ensures medical supplies are ordered and stocked/available for staff. Further, assists with resident/client transportation needs for approved medical appointments and activities.

    The Equipment Maintenance & Supply Technician is a vital part of our cohesive team that collaborates with Central Supply to purchase medical equipment, supplies, and upkeep adequate stock for employees (including oxygen tanks, AED, CPR equipment, medical safety equipment, mats, etc.).

    To ensure that equipment remains in working order, the Equipment Maintenance & Supply Technician also monitors, maintains, repairs, and replaces all safety and medical equipment per the manufacturer's recommendations.

    As part of our nursing team, this position also assists with transports of residents to/from medical facilities and other pre-approved activities, and further, reports any changes of conditions in the residents that require clinical attention during transport.


    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • High School Diploma or GED, and
    • One (1) year of experience, or
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
    • Must possess a valid, current driver's license in good standing, with acceptable driving record.
    • Active AED, CPR, and First Aid certification.
