  • Development of new concepts for research and development in the field of energy for the department, including relevant areas for the energy transition such as hydrogen technology, electrical energy storage, and energy conversion
  • Ensuring continuity of services and sovereign tasks in the field of nuclear waste disposal in the coming decades
  • Leadership of approximately 150 employees in the departments of "Safety of Hazardous Material Packaging and Batteries", "Hazardous Material Tanks and Accident Mechanics", "Safety of Transport Containers", "
