We, at Regional Association Ruhr, are looking for a landscape ecologist to join our department of Ecological Public Services at RVR Ruhr Grün.

Responsibilities:

Ecological Land Fund Management

Planning and implementation of ecological concepts for nature conservation, maintenance, and management of associationowned land
Monitoring and evaluation of nature conservation measures in open land, forests, and special habitats
Planning, implementation, and monitoring of various species protection measures
Development of concepts for compensation measures, ecological accounts, and land pools
Planning and establishment of ecological accounts
Negotiations with project developers for compensation areas and coordination of compensation measures with relevant authorities
Coordination of compensation areas and measures, and implementation and acceptance by internal and external stakeholders
Collaboration with authorities and associations

Strategic Tasks, Project Management, Project Development

Analysis and ecological assessment of associationowned land
Participation in the development and implementation of various plans and measures (landscape planning, maintenance and development planning, emergency measures concepts, habitat management plans) internally and externally

Marketing, Contract Matters, Financial Planning, Budget, Fundraising

Acquisition of replacement funds for forestry and landscape management/ecological measures from association members and regional forestry offices within the framework of the Ecological Land
