Description
Responsibilities

As a pipeline builder, you will lay pipes for kilometers and gradually build a huge pipeline system that supplies millions of people every day with water, gas, oil, and district heating.

You will also perform maintenance and repairs on damaged pipes. Before laying the pipes, you will use modern equipment to excavate and secure trenches.

Then, you will lower the necessary pipe parts into the trench and connect the individual elements to create a strong, leak-proof pipeline that can withstand high pressure.

For the most part, you will use prefabricated standard pipes for your work. Special pieces such as branches or bends that cannot be purchased ready-made will be made in the workshop. It is important for the pipes to be completely leak-proof, especially for environmental reasons. You will be responsible for ensuring this, which is why you must always perform a leak test. Only then can you close the trenches and restore the surface of the terrain.
