The training program for Machine Operators (m/f/d) combines practical on-the-job training with theoretical coursework at the Johannes Gutenberg School in Stuttgart.


What to expect:


Practical training at Baier & Schneider

  • The duration of the training is 2 years and begins in September.
  • The first week consists of several seminars and trainings.
  • You will work with a variety of machines, large units, and production systems, and rotate through the most important areas of our production.
  • Your tasks will include activities such as starting up machines, checking machine functions, and monitoring the production process.
  • Over time, you will specialize in one or more machines and learn to perform small independent repairs.

At vocational school

  • Vocational school takes place in block classes, with approximately 12 weeks per year.
  • Each block lasts about 2 weeks, during which time you can be accommodated in local youth hostels.
