Calumet's origins can be traced back to the individual practice founded by auditor and tax consultant Rudolf Lehleiter in 1974. He quickly recognized that individuals were no longer able to meet the demands of auditing and tax consulting, mainly due to the increasingly complex legal system and constantly changing tax laws.
