Job Description:

As an In-Home Registered Behavior Technician at ABA Midwest, you will work directly with clients in their homes, implementing individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA.


Your primary responsibilities will include:


  • Work 11 with clients following individualized ABA treatment plans for children/adults with autism in home settings.
  • Teach clients to acquire language, academic, social, and selfhelp skills under the supervision of a BCBA treatment plan.
  • Implement programs and skills aimed at helping clients reach their full potential.
  • Assist in creating new client projects and materials.
  • Provide parent training to families to expand client advancement opportunities.
  • Receive ongoing support and supervision in the field by BCBA level staff.
  • Assist in designing and implementing behavior analytic programming related to ABA-Verbal Behavior skill acquisition and behavior management.
  • Create, develop, and monitor individualized programming.
  • Maintain reliable and consistent schedules with families.
  • Ensure documentation of clinical services meets requirements.
  • Adhere to BACB guidelines for ethical conduct.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Preferences:


  • 1+ years' previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities or behavioral issues preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Active RBT Certification
  • Excellent time management skills with experience managing a caseload.
  • Experience in Functional Assessment Protocols and Behavior.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to providing quality behavior analytic programming.
  • Enthusiastic and selfmotivated to teach and learn more about Applied Behavior Analysis.

Physical Demands:


Including but not limited to:
standing for extended periods of time, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally sit.

The employee may be required to squat, stoop, kneel, reach above the head, reach forward, and use hand strength to grasp.

The employee will frequently bend, twist at the neck and trunk more than the average person while performing the duties of this job.
