At Gallant, AL, the company Peter Cames in Neuss is a family-run food wholesale business, specializing in supplying and advising independent food retailers as well as convenience shops (gas stations, kiosks, train stations, airports, etc.).

In its fourth generation, we deliver to over 1,200 customers in NRW and RP as well as in the BENELUX region with our own fleet of vehicles.

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a

Customer Service Representative (m/f/d)
in part-time (25 hours/week) on a permanent basis.


Your responsibilities at Cames:


  • Telephone and written customer support, including order and complaint processing and entry into the inventory management system
  • Creation of the weekly customer newsletter and support in creating content for various social media channels
  • Maintenance of promotional prices in the inventory management system (e.g. weekly advertisements)
  • Close collaboration with other departments, such as warehouse logistics and fleet management
  • Support of the sales team in customer retention and acquisition of new customers
  • Processing of seasonal preorders (data maintenance, order processing, and monitoring of delivery)

Your qualifications:


  • Successfully completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
  • Strong customer service and service orientation, friendly and communicative, reliable team player
  • Fluent in German; good knowledge of French and English
  • Experience and enthusiasm in creating social media content
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, inventory management system, etc.)
