The Landscape Association Rhineland (LVR) is currently seeking a

Pedagogical Specialist for an existing social-pedagogical community (SPLG) of LVR Youth Services Rhineland, located in Euskirchen.


Your responsibilities:

  • Participation in daily family life and leisure activities of the SPLG
  • Pedagogical support and care for young people in the SPLG
  • Collaboration with the entire network: caregivers, schools, therapists, etc.
  • Individual support for the family system
  • Documentation within the framework of care planning and progress monitoring
  • Respectful interaction with children and young people and their support system

Your profile:

Requirements for employment:

  • State recognition as an educator or a comparable pedagogical degree
  • Driver's license

Desirable:

  • High level of empathy and enjoyment in working with children and young people
  • Reflective ability and critical examination of one's own actions
  • Professional experience in residential youth services and in caring for children and young people with challenging behavior
