Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and tidying up
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients

Experience:


  • Previous experience in caregiving or related roles preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical procedures
  • Knowledge of tube feeding procedures is a plus
  • Ability to prepare nutritious meals for patients based on dietary requirements
  • Experience in documenting patient care activities accurately
  • Understanding of patient care principles and practices in nursing homes or home care settings

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract


Pay:
$ $23.73 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
