Description

The Library Association of Schleswig-Holstein is currently seeking a driver with packing and sorting tasks (m/f/d) for its library headquarters in the North Port area of Schleswig-Holstein. This is a full-time, permanent position with a 35-hour work week, Monday through Friday.

The salary is based on pay grade 4 of the TVöD-VKA collective agreement. The place of employment is Rendsburg.

As a driver in the transportation service, you will deliver media to public libraries throughout Schleswig-Holstein. You will also be responsible for tasks in the internal service department at the Rendsburg library headquarters.

Requirements:

A valid Class 3 or B/BE driver's license is required, with Class 2 or C/CE and relevant driving experience preferred.

Your main responsibilities as a driver with packing and sorting tasks will include:

  • Delivering media to libraries, running errands, and transporting vehicles to workshops
  • Vehicle maintenance
  • Packing and sorting tasks at the library headquarters, receiving mail and containers, packaging book shipments, and sending deposit containers through a shipping company
  • Minor maintenance tasks
  • Occasional substitute work as a driver and library administrator in the mobile
