Position Highlights:

Part Time:
Full-Time (40 hours per week)

  • Required Travel: Must be willing to travel to other NSUH sites

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business or healthcarerelated field; Master's Degree preferred
  • Experience: 25 years' related experience in healthcare or business environment
  • Skills: 23 years of clerical experience

What you will do:

  • Coordinate logistics for setting up meetings/conferences/educational programs, including room reservations/room setup, creating program announcement flyers, archiving attendance records, ordering catering as appropriate, organizing any materials required for the programs/meeting, including obtaining parking passes
  • Provide administrative assistance to the VP, AVPs, Senior Directors, Director, Managers, Nursing Educators, and CPR Coordinator within the NPDR department
  • Create and administer survey tools using LMS, Word, and electronic survey software (Survey Monkey); tabulate surveys and evaluation outcomes for NPDR; assist educators to organize, communicate, and present survey data results
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Professional Practice to organize, plan, schedule, and maintain records related to nursing student clinical experience at Legacy NorthShore, including assigning and tracking online learning/Epic training classes as needed, reporting community benefit hours and vaccinations, and terminating students in the Human Resources Management System upon completion of their clinical experience; oversee the Master Affiliation Agreements and Program Memorandums for the various nursing schools and programs
  • Assist the CPR Coordinator with scheduling AHA BLS classes, maintaining BLS course files and the instructor database
  • Maintain records for the ONA Provider Unit under the guidance from the Primary Nurse Planner
  • Assist with input of data for NDNQI (National Database for Nursing Quality Indicators)
