Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team.

As a key member of the nursing staff, you will provide essential care to expectant mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process.

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and child, while providing emotional support and education to families.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Monitor the progress of labor and the health of the mother and baby.
  • Administer medications and assist with medical procedures as needed.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with doctors, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan.
  • Assist with postpartum care and breastfeeding support.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
  • Participate in emergency situations and provide critical care when necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date on best practices and new developments in labor and delivery nursing.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • BSN or higher degree in nursing.
  • Previous experience in labor and delivery nursing preferred.
  • BLS and NRP certification required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
