What to expect:

As an industrial mechanic underground for the stationary systems of K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH at the Braunschweig-Lüneburg location, starting from June 1st, 2023, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Carrying out professional repair, maintenance, and servicing work as well as assembly/disassembly work on stationary systems (conveyor belts, crushers, airlocks, machines) underground
Troubleshooting of mechanical equipment
Assisting with the commissioning of machines and systems
Manufacturing of spare and individual parts for machines and system components using conventional machines and welding techniques
Compliance with regulations regarding work, environmental protection, and fire safety

Your profile:

What you bring:

Successfully completed vocational training as an industrial/anlagen mechanic or equivalent qualification
Welding qualifications/knowledge advantageous (manual, MIG)
Professional experience in mechanical engineering desirable
Willingness to work shifts and overtime, including weekends, as well as for further training and development
Physical fitness for working underground (mining suitability)
Willingness to work hard, flexibility, accuracy, conscientiousness, and teamwork
Ability to work independently and take responsibility, as well as safetyconscious behavior
