- Must have private office area where telehealth services may be delivered confidentially (may be a home office)
- Must meet credentialing requirements for Texas A&M Health
- One or more years of telehealth experience
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
- Knowledge of standard nursing procedures and techniques.
- Ability to use and manage an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Documents patient care in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
- Prescribes medicines upon diagnoses of illness or injury, under the delegation of a physician and within the limitations of Nurse Practitioner regulations.
- Maintains and monitors patient records, assesses health care needs, and provides patient education.
- Interprets lab and/or x-ray results.
- Performs follow-up care in conjunction with other staff via Tele-health services
- Serves as a preceptor for both graduate and undergraduate nursing students
- Participates in quality improvement processes within the virtual follow-up clinic.

The Texas A&M School of Nursing is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join their Forensic Nursing team. The practitioner will deliver trauma-informed primary care to survivors of sexual assault through a virtual follow-up clinic. Responsibilities include providing patient care, conducting evaluations, and offering treatment.Schedule:
This is a part-time position.
This position is grant funded; Master's degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience
Provides direct patient care, assessments, counseling, preparation, and treatment and referrals through a telehealth platform.
