Cathedral Master/Diocesan Building Master (m/f/d) for the Management of the Building Department (Full-time) (no application deadline):

The Episcopal Vicariate Osnabrück is seeking an indefinite full-time position as Cathedral Master/Diocesan Building Master (m/f/d) for the management of the Building Department in the Department of Parishes - Building Department, starting on February 1, 2023.


Your responsibilities:


  • Management of the Building Department with 6 employees
  • Providing buildingrelated advice and support to parishes in strategic structural processes, as well as accompanying neighborhood developments
  • Determining building needs and project management for building maintenance, including valueenhancing measures, as well as renovation and expansion projects
  • Care for listed buildings in the Diocese of Osnabrück
  • Further development of diocesan and interdiocesan networks
  • Conducting architectural competitions
  • Granting ecclesiastical approval for building measures and architect and engineer contracts

Your qualifications:


  • Successfully completed university degree in architecture or civil engineering or equivalent expertise
  • Professional experience in the areas of building preservation, as well as experience in construction management and documentation
  • Knowledge of working with historical buildings and monument preservation
  • Knowledge and experience in occupational safety
  • Class B driver's license and willingness to travel for work
