Overview:

Elevate your career with CHAGEE as our R&D Specialist for beverages.

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing our menu offerings, including limited-time offerings (LTOs), and ensuring that our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality and flavor.

Working closely with the R&D team, culinary experts, suppliers, and other stakeholders, you will play a key role in driving innovation and delivering exceptional experiences to our customers.


What you'll do:


Menu Development:

Collaborate with the R&D team to develop innovative food and beverage menus, including future LTOs, that captivate our customers' taste buds and drive business growth.


Culinary Collaboration:

Work closely with culinary experts and suppliers to create unique and appealing tea and food offerings that differentiate us in the market and meet customer preferences.


Quality Assurance:

Conduct sensory evaluations and taste tests to ensure the quality and flavor profile of menu items meet our exacting standards and delight our customers.


Ingredient Research:

Research and identify high-quality ingredients that align with market trends and customer preferences, ensuring that our products remain competitive and relevant.


Supplier Relationships:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent and fresh supply of ingredients, fostering trust and collaboration throughout the supply chain.


Operational Integration:

Ensure seamless integration of new menu items into existing operational processes, working closely with operations teams to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.


Nutritional Analysis:

Utilize Genesis software to create accurate and compliant nutritional facts panels for our menu items, providing transparency and valuable information to our customers.


Market Awareness:

Stay informed about food and beverage trends, with a particular focus on the tea industry, to anticipate consumer preferences and drive innovation in our menu offerings.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with marketing, operations, and branding teams to align menu offerings with overall business strategies, ensuring consistency and coherence across all aspects of our brand.


Experience you need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related field. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.


4+ years of experience in R&D roles within the food and beverage industry, with a preference for beverage background experience.

Strong understanding of food and beverage operations with experience in menu development and optimization.

Proficiency in nutritional analysis software, preferably Genesis.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Operations background is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of operational processes and their impact on menu development.
