We are currently seeking a permanent, full-time or part-time (50%) employee for our IT department (GBIT) in the Service Operations division, specifically for the IT Service Desk team.

Compensation will be based on qualifications and responsibilities according to TV-L.


The IT department at the University Hospital Münster provides efficient and highly available information technology for 7,000 workstations and over employees.

The IT Service Desk plays a crucial role in ensuring productive IT operations and contributes significantly to patient care. The IT Service Desk serves as the central point of contact for all IT-related questions and reports. It represents the IT department externally and gives a human face and voice to IT services.

Your responsibilities in the IT Service Desk:


You will be the first point of contact for our users when it comes to IT-related issues and questions at UKM.

You will independently find solutions or apply workarounds to quickly provide or restore IT services.
This includes receiving, processing, classifying, and responding to inquiries and incident reports through our IT service management tool.
You will also be responsible for analyzing, qualifying, and completing information on incidents, especially for more complex issues.
Your results and solutions will be incorporated into our knowledge database and CMDB.

You will perform software installations through our software distribution system and contribute to defining our IT architecture through quality assurance measures.
