The Catholic City Parish Foundation "St.

Johann Baptist" in Neu-Ulm, Bavaria, is seeking a part-time Church Musician (m/f/d) with a Master's degree or A or B exam in Church Music, starting on May 1, 2023 (unlimited contract).

In the foreseeable future, there may be the possibility of taking over the hourly workload of the Dean's Church Musician (2 hours per week).

Johann Baptist", designed by Dominikus Böhm, is one of the most significant church buildings of the 20th century and is considered a national monument.

Your responsibilities:

Planning and coordinating church music and musical services
Providing highquality musical accompaniment for our various forms of worship
Leading, developing, and building various choir groups (children's, youth, and adult choirs, schola)
Developing additional church music offerings for all age groups (cantors, instrumental ensembles)
Organizing and conducting various concert formats
