At BASF, our European Site & Verbund Management continuously develops and improves our major European sites to ensure their competitiveness. We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operational services, personnel services, and logistics with production at our sites. This ensures the basic supply for our business areas, allowing them to successfully operate in the market. Additionally, we provide advice to our sites on environmental protection, occupational and plant safety, health protection, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities



Our Operational Safety Services unit supports activities related to safety and the protection of people and facilities.

  • As one of our appointed safety specialists, you will independently oversee production units, workshops, technical areas, and laboratories in accordance with §6 ASiG.
  • You will support our sites in communicating with regulatory authorities and during inspections and audits.
  • As a safety specialist, you will maintain close contact with the RCI employers' liability insurance association and the South trade supervisory authority.
  • You will support the units you oversee in implementing legal and BASF-specific requirements and actively contribute to finding solutions for safety-related issues.
