We are currently working on behalf of a leading specialized bank, which is looking to strengthen its team in Frankfurt or Düsseldorf (up to 60% remote work) with an experienced individual (m/f/d) in the field of Operational Risk/ICS. This person would be responsible for the methodical realignment and implementation of an ICS.

Responsibilities:

Acting as a contact person for the business units (1st and 2nd line) for all relevant issues and providing advice on the implementation of ICS and risk management methods
Preparing necessary risk analyses and ensuring quality assurance of recorded risk events in the loss event database (ORC)
Advising on the determination and review of risk indicators and thresholds
Ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and traceability of (operational) control execution and documentation of (key) controls
Assisting in the preparation of the ICS report and conducting trainings
Participating in projects

Profile:

Completed relevant university degree
5+ years of experience in a risk or control function in a bank or consulting firm, ideally with a focus on Operational Risk/NFR
Experience in implementing or executing an Internal Control System in the
