Our family business has been the go-to for fresh fish on the North Sea island of Sylt for over 50 years. With multiple fish specialty shops and bistros, an in-house smokehouse, lobster holding facility, and a wholesale and shipping department, we offer a diverse, variable, and exciting range of tasks in our amazing team.

We are currently looking for a head chef (m/f/d) for our bistro in the heart of Westerland, starting immediately or at the earliest possible date.

Your responsibilities:


• Preparation of our à la carte dishes


• Quality and inventory control


• Management and motivation of the kitchen team (up to 4 colleagues)


• Recipe management and purchasing

Your profile:


• Essential is a generally clean, independent, and responsible handling of food


• Experience in the gastronomy industry with knowledge of kitchen organization


• Knowledge of staff management is an advantage


• Creativity and enjoyment in working with our fish specialties


• You can keep a cool head even when things get busy
